How did I get here?

It was not all that long ago when my son came to me with a desire to learn photography. I thought it would be an excellent way for him to express himself, so for his 16th birthday I bought him his first DSLR camera to begin his new journey. Being the pragmatic father that I am I purchased the same camera for myself so that I could learn how to use it and then have the capability of teaching him. I started soaking up as much information as I could reading and watching hundreds of hours of videos on the subject. It did not take me long to realize that I had become obsessed. I found that my lifelong love of the outdoors and nature led me to combining both into a whole new passion. Whenever I went hiking, camping, traveling for work or walking my Brittany Oliver, my camera gear went with me. From vast landscapes to the intimate details of a small flower I continued to learn and grow in a subject that has no boundaries. Over time my photography has expanded to include waterdrop photography, shooting family events and even sports. It is my wish to share this passion with meeting new people and producing something that everyone can enjoy as much as I enjoy creating it.
