The Bubbles

Of the 26 lakes and ponds in Acadia, Jordan Pond is the deepest freshwater lake at 150 feet. The Jordan Pond shore path provides a breathtaking view of the glacially carved North and South Bubbles, the staggering cliffs of Penobscot and Pemetic mountains. While walking the path I found this view amid the tangled roots and trees to capture the Bubbles in the background.
